The Heroes Supporting Heroes does not exist without key support from our community.  There are many ways to help support HSH and all that it does in support of our local military families.     

Volunteers 

• As individuals are referred to us or reach out directly, we broadcast that need to our list of volunteers to see who has the skill set needed and time available to assess the project and provide assistance.

Financial Donations

• Donations pay for supplies necessary for home repairs (i.e. wood for a ramp) or pay qualified professionals to undertake work that is outside of our volunteer skill set. 
• Heroes Supporting Heroes (HSH) is proud to be a 501(c)(3) organization. This allows any donations we receive to be tax-deductible!
• How do I donate?
  • Donate online through Square using the Donate button below 
  • OR send your donation to our address, payable to “Heroes Supporting Heroes" and we will be happy to reply with a letter of appreciation/tax-deductible receipt

Gift Cards 

• Gift cards can support our mission in two key ways:
  1. Gift cards for hardware or related equipment and supplies support our home repair work.
  2. Gift cards for gas or groceries can help military members and their immediate families with short term needs so they have gas to get to work or medical appointments, or so they can buy groceries for the week.

Furniture, Small Appliances, Etc.  

• Families of deployed soldiers may arrive here with little more than their clothes and a few pieces of furniture.

  • Wheelchairs (manual or motorized) 
• We do NOT accept donations of clothing, toys, exercise equipment, baby equipment, or smaller household items (dishes, silverware, knick knacks)

• We do a lot of yard and home repair work to support our veteran, elderly, and disabled community members.
